Lighthouse Project

Close Up - An up-close view of the lighthouse. A close-up shot is a view of the "face" of the subject.

Extreme Close Up - The Extreme Closeness allows you to see the texture and light in greater detail. Extreme Close Up is a freakishly close up view of the "face" of the subject.

Medium Shot - A medium view of the lighthouse. It displays formal balance. A medium shot would be a shot not too close, but not too far.

P.O.V. - You are the lighthouse. You must be the lighthouse. The ocean takes up the bottom third of the image. A Point of View shot is a shot taken from what would be the subject's point of view.

Over the Shoulder - The view over the metaphorical shoulder of the lighthouse.

Worm's Eye View - This displays not only the worm's eye view, but also Leading Lines.
Eye Level - This shot places the light at approximately the place where the "eyes" of the lighthouse would be equal to the viewer's.

Bird's Eye View - This overhead shot applies informal balance, as well as long shot. It could also be considered a two shot due to the rock and lighthouse.

Model No. 1 - Birthday Monkey

Angle 1 - Blender Render
Angle 1 - Cycles Render
This first model turned out surprisingly well, but the Cycles Render is really grainy. I'll have to figure out how to fix that.

A mesh is a hollow base that a 3D model is built with or upon.
